Tapped the 28th. By the next day I had 110 gallons of sap. It seemed a little light on sugar content, around 2.6%. Boiled down to a little over 14 quarts. Nothing running since then and the mud in the woods is all froze up again

Thanks for the update. You are a bit south of us in Crawford County but it is interesting to hear what is happening as most likely we are a day or two behind you. Started out with a sugar content of 2.2 here and has risen up to about 3. Hadn't collected sap for about a week. Went out and collected ice this morning. The only fluid in my pails came from the thawed out tubing and a little melt over the last few days. Warm but very windy this Sunday afternoon.
