Just a quick note to say THANK YOU! Myself and my three young sons have been making syrup in Maine for 3 years now. We would not be anywhere near where we are now, with out all the help/ guidance and information that has be so freely and graciously shared by all of you fine folks! The behavior and polite "discussions" about differences of opinions on how to do things are so properly done that I don't even worry about what my 10 and 12 year olds are reading about in the forums! So thanks again for all the help and hopefully I can continue on the tradition of paying it forward that is so well represented on here! Lee

I think it all comes down to is this...not all gentlemen/gentlewomen make maple syrup but all maple syrup producers are gentlemen/gentlewomen. I have to agree with you that this is the best forum for knowledge and politeness. A true class act.
