I am tring to find ceramic blanket to insulate oil fired arch. Would like to find suitable insulation in town without going across the lake to Leader and probably spending more. I tried Lowes with no luck. Any suggestions on best type of store to go to, or best most affordable type to get.
Thanks,
Chris

Go directly to a refactory vendor such as http://www.onexnet.com/. Also others on here have gotten good deals on e-bay. The maple dealers charge about double over what I paid for it.

I found some at a local woodstove / fireplace store. Came in a a 1'x3' sheet and worked great to plug up those odd gaps.

would 2300 be alright? I would like to double 1" 2300 in my oil fired rig. It is about 1/2 the price of 2600
Thanks for all the leads on where to get it
