I bought a RO and made light syrup. It registered 72 on my Hanna digital grader. It does not have enough maple flavor for me. I will try to make a little darker syrup in the future. Is there a number that I should be shooting for if I want to market the syrup for table use? I figure that I can not take as much water out with the RO or let the sap sit longer before processing in order to make darker syrup. Any suggestions? Thanks for your help.
