Drawoff valve size on 2x6

On a commercial 2x6, what is the size of the drawoff valve or outlet? I'm guessing 3/4" but want to know for sure. After this season is over I'm going to make some new pans and am not sure what size fittings to put on the syrup pan.

My Algier 2x6 has 1" draw off valves.

The older Leader 2x6s had 3/4" drawoffs. That was more than enough. In 10 years of using it the valve was open all the way only once at the end of the season to drain it.

If building new pans i would put at least 1" valves. If you find you are having a hard time controling to draw you can very easily reduce down to a smaller size. Much easier then tring to go bigger.
