Peepers calling in WNY- Feb 29th

I had two peepers calling this morning at my house in western NY (Genesee County). I am aware of the old folklore of peepers calling 3 times, not sure how accurate it is, though the timing makes sense IF it were a normal year. Thought I'd pass this along to you all.

I saw some white crocus blooming across the creek out back yesterday.

I heard some peepers at my house (susquehanna county pa) if I remember right in January ,very odd,haven't heard them since,but the geese are back on pond,wish they would find somewhere else to go,
