I am currently burning wood in my leader arch and was wondering if anyone has added a waste oil burner to supplement the wood heat. Was wondering if there was a way to plumb a drip line into the fire box and control with a valve at the storage tank. Thanks for any thoughts or ideas.

I spent the winter helping a friend rebuild a lanair wasteoil heater for his dairy farm.my suggestion get on line and look for a complete head unit replacement. And install it. their not cheap per say but in working on his the wheels were deffinatly turning in my head . But you better have a darn good seal on your arch that oil smell is verry much a part of a oil burner .good luck post any picts or inovations you have.

Check on your local and state laws first. In some areas you are not allowed to burn waste oil, in others you are only allowed to burn waste oil you you created, you can not go around and pick it up. In other areas there is a max. amount you can burn. Then some areas there are no restrictions.
In your desire to use a great resource you don't want to expose your operation to a big fine.
