Sycamore syrup?

Has anyone on here made or making sycamore syrup. My brother sent me a link to a site called wildfoodism.com, and it says you can tap sycamore trees. Supposed to taste like butterscotch, yummy. I saw a few other sites that say the same thing. I have a few sycamores, thinking about trying it.
