Anyone else get a Sap Tsunami today?

I got 120 gallons on Monday and came home to 200 more from my few days off snowboarding. I was amazed to see so much, I'm approaching 1000 gallons on the "season" already and never in my life expected id do this much volume.......wood is going to run out before my sap supply.

Boiled last night...when I shut down I was amazed to find 200 gals back in that tank...by tonight I had just over 2000 gals...ro has been working overtime!...will see what we actually make tonight

Wow! That's a lot of sap!

I boiled the 42 gallons I have gathered since Sunday on my 33 taps, plus gathered 24 gallons today that is, after dumping yellow rain run-off this morning. It's looking like a good start to the season! :)

My last weekends boil of 300 gallons I was at 2.77% No complaints from me with that as I had pretty poor results in the past but these are all new trees and locations for me. This latest 300 gallons I gave it to a friend to boil for me this weekend as im fishing in the Ice fishing derby and didn't want it to go bad....there will be 300+ more when I get home on Sunday night im assuming LOL

Tuesday we got 180 gallons of sap at 2.2% Yesterday we got flooded. 490 gallons at 2% At 9pm the trees were still running. We are looking at another 200 gallons today already

Sap tsunami here too. I got over 1.5 gals per tap out of red maples that normally produce half that much. I've made 29 gals of syrup so far but still have a long way to go to call it a good season.
