Is anyone using the new Hanna syrup grade? If so how do you like it, do you find it accurate? I like the idea of a one time investment versus annual grading kits. I have been told by one supplier in Maine the state has accepted it and by another the state has rejected it? Does anyone know the answer to that also? Thanks, Lee

I got one and like it. How it compares to grading kits???? Or to the high priced graders???

I'm a small producer, but I just bought one for this season. I had the same thoughts, one time investment. It is very easy to use, and if you save a specimen bottle from each boil, you can see the differences in color between the different specimens and how each one had a different reading. So, so far I am thinking it was the right investment.
