I have some 5/16 tubing lines running from the top of my hill to the bottom to collect in buckets. What I did was in the fall I tied 1/4" rope from tree to tree all the way to my buckets, and pulled it tight. Then last week I simply ran my tubing along the rope and ziptied to the rope to keep it from sagging and creating a low spot. Is this something that everyone does or am I overdoing things and really just need to pull the tubing tight and call it a day, and forget all about the rope step. I wasn't sure that the barbs on the taps and the tees would be suitable for holding any kind of tension. Are they design to hold that kind of tension? If I can avoid the extra step of running rope again next year, I would definitely like that. Unfortunately I have to take everything down each year as the kids all play back there and I don't want a decapitation situation to arise.:o

Thanks guys. You have officially save me 1/2 day of work next spring. And now I'll have about 1000' of 1/4" rope to use for something else.
