I have a waterguy ro that I aquired. The manual says maple pro hp7500ms. My problem is I don't know what 20 inch 5 micron filter to get for it. I was at a cdl dealer and there 20 in filter looked to skinny for it. The blue canister is about 5 in wide. Any help would be appreciated.

Use a polyspun filter. The one at cdl is correct as long as it is 20in long and 5 micron. Change daily.

The one for the cdl ros looked awfully skinny compared to my housing. Do the filters lock into a fitting on the ends?

On the ends there is a raised circular ridge what will push into the filter to seal it. You are looking for 2.5" x 20" filters. Unless you have some other filter housing. I know thatbthere is a mega filter that uses 4.5" filters, but the housing is 6-8in diameter and I think they are only 10"long. If at a cdl dealer, they should have an ro or filter housing there to compare to yours.

I tried a cdl filter and the end didn't fit. If anyone has a water guys ro you would think the pre filters would be the same on all models

The Waterguy RO comes with the "Big Blue" filter housing. The correct filter for this housing is a 4 1/2"x20" filter. 5 Micron filters are available online from places such as freshwatersystems.com. You are able to purchase a case for a reduced price. The filters from your CDL dealer are made for the a narrower filter housing.
