Collected 900 gallons of sap from Saturday evening into Sunday off of 500 taps. Busy days to come. How is everyone else doing?

400 off 200 taps. Put them in on Saturday. Another 100 to be added this weekend. Two long nights of boiling. Need a day off of work now so I can rinse the RO and finally put it into service. So far so good.

This will be 2nd year with R/O and most certainly won't be going backwards. We cut our wood use by 1/2 last year and everything else went faster as well

Thanks. Can't wait to put it into use. Just hoping its maiden run doesn't have too many leaks.

I know I have plenty of wood available if necessary. I think I've used about a quarter of what I typically use in a season to heat my house! Guess it saves me my time and energy splitting and stacking.

Good luck to you too!

Ok, so exactly where are you? I came home from work last night, emptied my tanks, and went in the house. Took the night off. Only collected about 100 gallons. Not worth firing up the evaporator for that. Hoping that the flood gates opened when I get home tonight.
