stack size on 30 X 8

what is the recommended stack size on a 30 x 8. I have a 12 inch on there right now and I think I am getting two much draft.

i have a 12" stack on my 30 X 8

A 12" stack is what came on my 30x10.

Why do you feel you have too much draft? If your arch isn't ramped or bricked correctly you'll lose heating ability.

I have it ramp like the it should and there is no space between the back of the arch and the pan. I filled the back of the arch with brick and sand. That's what the guy I bought off told me what to use.
