Tapped half of the trees yesterday with enough sap flowing to check for leaks and clean out the lines. Will finish prepping the new expansion today and tap it tomorrow. Should be an interesting season.

Finished putting in the last few taps this AM for a total of 302 (i think) on 3/16. Sap was really pulling with most gauges pinned on 27 in. of vac.

Delivered 2 loads to the sugar shack today first load 204 gals at 2% second load 173 Gals at 1.7%. Total of 377 Gals. on 302 taps on 3/16ths, not a bad way to start the season

Had some decent Runs the last few days. Got 500 or so Gal to take to the sugar shack. Should be a good run tommorrow. Next weeks temps are a little disappointing, but one can hope that them buds are sealed up tight til we can get a little more chill factor.

As of 3/9 delivered 730 Gals. So far to Chandlers Sugarshack. Most all of my tanks are full for a big delivery tommorrow and hopefully a great run as well. Last delivery was 353 Gals. at 2.3% sugar.

Seems like you're doing well. This is all on gravity, right? How many gallons/tap so far?

Yah all 3/16 on Gravity looks like about 8.5 Gal per tap roughly

Sap is really pouring in this evening. So thankful for the extended season. Totals so far 3355 Gal. on 352 taps 3/16 gravity. Should break 10 gals a tap when I deliver sap tomorrow tanks will be full if sap runs all night.

How many taps are you putting on a line? I am converting my bush from buckets and have a few 3/16 lines set up. My longest has 25 taps and pulled 25" of vacuum during the few runs I had. Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have any where from 15 to 45 but most are in the 30's. 45 line dosnt seem to restrict flow at all. I have lines close to 1000 ft in length still work great.

4/8 3 Loads today 1st 200gals 1.7% 2nd 197 Gals. 2.0% 3rd. 207 gals. 1.8% still running good little cloudy but no off flavors yet.:D

It's nice to hear that you had a good season. It sounds like the 3/16 works quite well. I have a remote bush that I might pipe up that way next year.

We called it a season today. Sap was still boiling and tasting decent flow just dropped way off. Only got 200 gals over the last 2 days. I will post season totals little later/
