Do you drain your pans between boil days, or do you run constant until all boiled ?

I have had horrible luck with red maples for out put. I stopped tapping them. Not worth the effort for me. Go n Get those sugar maples!

I agree I have 80 taps, and only 6 reds left..and this year all I get are sugar fleas and yellow sap from them. I pulled the taps.
