First time posting here and what a great site. I live in Webster, Wi which is in the NW corner of the state and am blessed to own 80 acres that is full of nice maples. A friend talked me into trying to make syrup last year and my wife and I made 5 gallons which turned out better than we expected, so we are looking forward to another year which is coming on fast. Also last year I started raising honey bees and ahd a great year of harvesting honey, between the syrup and honey we won't have to buy sugar ever again!
