12978 just picked up a waterguy RO not long ago, guy i got it from couldn`t find the manual for it . there are 2 wires that need to be hooked up on the pressure switch ( im guessing it was hardwired before and the wires had fallen off from screws that where loosened when disconnecting) and i would like a basic idea on how they say to run it..... i could run it without but would like to do it right. anyways called waterguy thinking it wouldn`t be a big deal to get the info the guy was rude and laughed saying " you didn`t buy it from us so we can`t help you" i was stunned. i said " its 2 wires and a manual i need help with..." he said " go tracked down the last owner, he took your money!!!" . well i just need some help with this one im sure anyone with a waterguy unit any model can help..... pm me if you would like to talk over the phone thanks

That's just plain poor customer service. I considered buying from them but not after hearing a story like that! It's their product that they made. I've never heard of a company that won't stand behind their product because you bought it from someone else. All they need to know is that it's their product!

I had same issue with him only cares about the sale of a new product could careless if your not the original purchaser he told me he would answer my questions if i had a credit card # and the rate was 40$ per hour I laughed at him, his machines work but he's a tool any way if you have a plumber friend they can tell you how to wires need to go all I know is its a well pump psi switch

There should be a wiring diagram under the cover of the p switch. If your pump is 220v, line side black and white go on each screw and load black and white go the opposite side, green is common. If 120v, black on one set of screws, line, load, / and white is common, green ground. I called water guys when I was looking at RO's, They would not send me a manual. Said it was proprietary.

yeah i saw the wiring diagram under the cover. i can build, fix, and operate just about anything, but ive a few bad experiences and lots of good with wiring things, my buddy is a electrican, i just try not to bother him with simple things unless he`s hangin out and i tell him i need a quick fix on something. im sure its an easy deal just want to be sure.... and i wouldn`t mind having manual seeing as the machine is new to me and its my first ro, i have a good basic outline of the regular processes that need to be done, now that im getting older (29) i like to be sure the first time when it comes to pricey eqiupment ive never used before

If you need instructions on running it the Lapierre site has pdf's and video's that will give you better info than those jokers
