We have been busy putting our homemade RO together. Should be finished the day after the season is over. Lol
With 4 to 5+ feet of drop, I feel safe going without a feeder pump. However, my son and buddies are beating me on the head to get a supply pump. After researching 1/2 - 3/4 hp shallow well jet pumps, I find that most do not state that they are for potable water. Looking at a bunch of homemade RO's, their feed pumps seem in many cases to be more for sprinklers/ lawn and not for drinking water. Seems like if the pump doesn't have a stainless housing then the inside begins to rust. Any one have a suggestion? I do not want to spend a lot as this project has already added up to a fair amount.
