I have tapped a few of my yard trees, and they dripped a little 2 days ago, now stopped. Question is for rest of woods I tap is it ok to tap now even if temps will be to cold to run for a week, or is it better to wait and tap just in front of what looks to be good running weather ?

if you have the time and a bit for frozen wood go for it. Most people prefer to tap frozen wood.
If you have a bunch to do, tap them when you can. If you have under a 100 I would wait until the morning before a good run to tap while still frozen. I spread my buckets and covers the afternoon before to speed up the tapping. The trees will run the hardest the first day they are tapped.
