Tapped In Newport

Yup, got started this morning put out 107 taps then whimped out with the rain. I hate tapping in the rain, now gathering is different, I can get warmed up and dried off later.
Got 23 more to put in tomorrow.
Our new line was running pretty good with 27 taps, better than I figured it would be.
Got to make a decision on hanging six buckets 150' off the road, they run like a mother, may just do it.

I put out 97 buckets today hope to run 30 - 50 more on tubing into totes.

Sap was running good today might make syrup on Monday.

Got the rest in this morning ....... 130 taps total
Even put a couple in the Red by the sugarhouse for any little kiddos that come around.

Glad to see you put a hood on that pan, it would have gotten pretty damp in there.
