I bought a large used evaporator two years ago but didn't have enough sap to make it worth using both the front and back pans. I used the front pan alone with a different firebox setup but now I'm interested in using the full setup. Does anyone know if there is a resource or document out there that would tell me how much sap is needed for different pan sizes and how much syrup production is expected for the different sizes too? My rear pan is 5'x10' and my front pan is 5'x4' and the evaporator is wood fired. Thanks
