Can anyone offer advice on how to attach fireblanket to the inside of my stove portion of my evaporator. Mine is a homemade system that has the lowerhalf of the stove line with brick, but the upper half of it is bare metal below my pan, I purchased some fire planet to insulate the tub under my rear pan and I want to install it inside the firebox as well. I thought maybe using some of that Rutland Gasket cement stuff would work, but that doesn't seem to be sticky enough to hold the blanket up. I don't have a good picture of the inside of my stove but its round and this is it in the picture.
Thanks in advance!!

I'm in the process of making a barrel unit. I tucked the insulation behind the bricks on the bottom and made a simple 1/8" x 3/4" clamp bar with 3 1/4-20 screws and just sandwiched the insulation between the outer sheet metal and the bar. I bolted the bar to the side sheet metal

I was tempted to drill into the stove and get some bolts with large washers and basically use the nuts and washers to hold it in place....but I think I'll be annoyed with how it looks.....you know because aesthetics are important haha

LOL after I wrote this I pretty much convinced myself that I think that's exactly what im going to do, carriage bolts with the rounded tops, some big washers, some nuts, and a can of paint, I think I will be good!!

An easier way is self tapping screws and fender washers. Then just break off the tip that comes through the evaporator.

Thanks everyone for the thoughts, I was hoping there might be an adhesive that would work too, but this seems to be the best way to handle the situation.....still learning how to get all the kinks out, this will be great soon.

I did use the gasket cement last year to hold my blanket to the barrel. It worked well during the boil. However the mice got into my barrel over the summer and trashed what wasn't covered by the fire brick. I am wondering if anyone has just tried coating the inside of the barrel with refractory cement. A neighbor told me he did this but I am not sure it would offer enough protection for the barrel.

I took 5/32 nuts and welded the to the rail and cut threaded rod to hold the blanket.

Spot weld 1/4 or 5/16 rod then use washers and nuts.
