Boiling With Coal

Anyone ever tried it? Cheap, burns hot, and I'm told it burns clean

I have used coal and it's ok every once in awhile. The clinkers do clogged up my grates and the firebrick cracked from the high heat.i only used it because I got 4 free tons.

I run two anthracite burners from a Keystoker furnace. Works exactly like a forge

I never burned coal at all, thought about it though.
Can it burn natural draft?
