testing homemade ro ?

I hear members testing there RO with distilled water. I was thinking mix up some well water and syrup to 2% or even sugar and try it out. What do you think

Why? Testing is to verify water leaks and clean/wet the membrane. You don't want to have to try and fix a leak when it is all sticky from sugar.

thought it would be nice to see how concentrated it will get and if it works at all
