2 shurflo's on a mainline

Hey guys I am thinking about putting 2 shurflo pumps on 1 mainline. I am going to put a Y in the mainline then put a shurflo pump on either end. Am I right in thinking that this will give me higher cfm on the line? Has anyone tried this?

Both pumps will need to get sap to them. Probably better to put a tee at the end with a pump on each side... and make it as level as you can so both pumps get sap.
