Tubing system

I'm going to run a small tubing system this year to get my feet wet with it. I'm trying to do my research so I can minimize my problems. I'm thinking about 30-50 taps on this first run. I think I have a good spot with enough slope to do this.
Any suggestions to someone new to running tubing?
Do I really need a tubing tool for this?
Anyone from North East Ohio? Possibly looking to walk through someone's tapped system to have a better idea.

A visit to someone that has done it is huge. A tubing tool makes life much easier. You could visit my setup but I'm at least a couple of hours away in ny, I'm sure you could find someone closer. There are videos on YouTube that might help as well as the maple producers manual. Good luck. Hard work but addicting 😅
