Hello everyone. I really enjoy all the pictures and information here. I hope to have things to share soon. I live in Southern Michigan and 2016 will be my 4th year tapping. I live in a medium sized city and I tap neighbor's trees in town and family members trees that are in the country. I have always evaporated on a natural gas converted camp stove.....but this year I want to go wood fired. I went looking for a filing cabinet and found a stainless, 6 pan, buffet table for $35. Now I am looking for ideas to build it into something reasonably efficient.

Welcome, Rachel. I was new last year. Can you post a pic of the table? Someone might be able to give you some ideas about how to heat it up.
