I finished tapping sunday with all my 3/16ths. One woods with 505 and another with 142. Began running yesterday afternoon right through the night and even still now. On my lunch I checked my tanks and had a little over 300 gallons in my big woods and about 100 in the smaller woods. The smaller woods began running earlier as it is a stand a lone patch of trees only, only about 2 acres. The big woods is a section amongst 300 acres of woods so was still cool in the woods late yesterday. Here's a picture of a vacuum gauge I put up at the end of tapping on Sunday.12628

Great vacuum in your lines.

That's three Nice's you get, lol.

Hope it continues for a long time.

Thanks guys, my big woods tested at 1.95 and my small woods tested a hair over 1.6. Ended up with about 500-550 gallons.

Is that natural vacuum on the 3/16"? I've got 80 new taps on 3/16 tube this year and looking forward to numbers like you have.

Yes all natural. Line is about 500 feet long, 38 taps, and has about 60 feet of fall between top tap and mainline. Have to get my gps out for all the elevation differences

Finished boiling the first run last night, made about 2 gallons of medium syrup. Now pans are sweetened and ready to roll
