I'm sure someone here has a diagram or picture of a RO setup with the permeate and concentrate tanks plumbed in. I just want to have an good idea on how to connect our setup (do it once and do it right). Thanks.

make sure sap tank is high enough or has enough head pressure to bleed line free of air into the feed pump. I use all 2'' banjo connections, male on RO, femle on all lines(feed, permeate, concentrate). important to get air bled out of feed pump line. some use pvc lengths, or the flexible white 2'' hose which is what i use for feed pump and I actually use regular black 1'' for permeate

On my 250 GPH R.O. I use 1" lines, except the one feeding from my sap tanks. For that I have 1.5" flex. milk hose. It joins 2 sap tanks and between them it has a tee. Then it crosses to the sugarhouse (about 16'). That is insulated and has a heat tape in it. From there it reduces to 1" and my R.O. suction hose SS cam locks to that and then enters the sugarhouse. By the spot where the RO suction hose connects, I have some tees and valves, 1 goes to the permeate tank) and another to my elevated head tank (both 1"). Then, while running the RO, I can close one valve at the same time I open another and thus I change from one source to another. I switch from sap to re-concentrate or to permeate rinse without shutting off the R.O. The R.O concentrate hose runs to the elevated tank, but there is a tee in that line too, so when I wash the R.O. I open the "to drain" valve after a 5 minute cold permeate rinse of the membranes into the elevated (head) tank. My suction 1" hose is PVC flex hose with SS cam lock fittings, the rest are braid re-enforced 3/4" & 1" hose going to the other tanks and the permeate hose is a length of the white potable water hose used for campers (the concentrate hose from the R.O is the 3/4" one).
Sorry, I have no pictures of this, maybe some day, maybe not. I rarely think to take pictures.

A picture is worth a thousand words... I, like you needed the picture. Here is a couple from other threads on the sites..

I hope this one comes out. I saved it off someones post.

I don't have a diagram, but I plumbed the outlets off my two 3-way valves right to connectors on my panel.. Like the diagram in the sugarbush thread, in the "run" position, one 3-way valve feeds the permeate tank, and one feeds the concentrate. In the "wash" position, they both feed the wash tank.

Ok ,great! I was able to map something out off the diagram and the text content. Now I have to put it together. Thanks again.
