I'm working on plumbing my pump, trap, and extractor together and befor I buy any plumbing materials I want to know on what size of pipe to get. On the pump and extractor it has 1" ports and on the trap it has 2" ports. I was thinking about running 2" pipe, or will 1" pipe work?

I would do the 2" as you will get better vac transfer. I used 3" pvc to my 2" water trap. Works great.

That's what I figured on using bigger pipe for plumbing everything together. Will be talking with the maintenance guy who comes out to the farm about a regulator and see what he thinks and then maybe a few pointers. Thanks guys!!!!

I don't use a regulator but I want high vac and use cooling fan if the pump gets to warm, not adding a leak to the system. But that's just my design.

i have a manual moisture trap. The pump wont shut off if full. Because its at a remote location, i didnt think it would be good for the pump.

I would agree with that. My trap is a dairy trap so it has a hollow stem on the float ball that allows air into the trap for the pump if it gets full.

She would get to hot if dead headed for a long period of time.
