I have a 30x 8 waterloo evaporator that is new to me this year. It has a 6 foot raised flue pan and a 2 foot syrup pan. I have played around with it a bit but was wondering what my evaporation rate should be. Dry wood, no blower or pre-heater... just the basic rate. Thanks you

Would guess about 50 GPH would be maxing it out. That is figuring 2.5 GPH per square ft of area. 2.5x8=20sqft. 20x2.5=50gph... If you have the means to add a blower I would, blower will put you closer to 3.5gph per square ft, so that would put you closer to 70gph.

Agreed, Seems like 50 to 60 GPH would be about right for a basic rig.
