Does anyone know if you can purchase a water jacket bottler in Canada for under $1000? Does anyone have experience with smoky lake steamer/ bottler set up that has the element fitted into the steam tray?

Purchased a Smoky Lake unit last year and it was one of the best investments for the year. Wouldnt imagine bottling without now.
Just need to plan your day to ensure the water jacket is to desired temperature when needed.

This is the one I got last year. https://www.kelleybees.com/Shop/18/Honey-Harvesting/Honey-House-Processing/4705/Water-Jacketed-Double-Boiler-Tank NAdded my own electric heater and have been very happy with it.

Ditto. Just ordered one a few days ago. Got the gas unit though.

I have a honey bottler also. 16 gallon for 1100 dollars. Works very well the valve is a little big for small glass. the valve is truly dripless no mess at all when filling and topping off. MAXANT was the maker it is a few years old now.

I use 2 of the honey bottlers/wax melters. I bought a 10 gallon 110 volt unit off craigslist for $100 for use at my hobby operation. It was a pain to clean up because of cinnamon wax in the draw off valve, but it works great now. At the family farm we use a 30 gallon plus 220v unit from Kelly Bee. Check all the bee supply houses they all have these units and look on craigslist as well for used.
