Winter is here

After all the very mild weather, winter has hit. Right now we have 9 degrees and -zero windchills. We at this time still only have 1-2" of snow. The total season snowfall this winter so for is likely about 6", but that can as a 3" and the rest 1" or less. The 3" last week was hard to clear, slush, then snow capped with freezing rain, very hard to shovel and impossible to snow blow. Mother nature cleaned it up pretty good in 2 days.
I hope this doesn't now get like last year, I had 4' on the level in the woods and no crust anyplace.

Dave, we have about 10 inches or so, it makes Sugarin look a little more promising doesn't it. Currently 2 degrees and below zero tonite.;)

For all those who were worried winter wasn't going to come.....just step outside this morning and you'll stop worrying.

up to 17 from 14, breezy as always, snow mostly gone, inch at most for frost before last night.
another day in the freezer and then 6 days of 38+ for highs.
