3/16 with check valves

Has anyone used check valve spouts with 3/16 tubing? just wondering how they worked and what your thoughts are. I have been happy with them in other application so I thinking I will use them with the 3/16 I'm going to install this year

Save some money and use regular spouts on your new tubing. If there is a benefit to using cv's. It would be on the second year and so on that you would see any benefit.

I've used CV spouts for a few years, but when I looked into 3/16, (which I have now installed) I was told that the 3/16 really did not need the CV because the vacuum never shuts off, except when everything is frozen solid. Save your money, a cheaper disposable spout is all you need. I say disposable because even on 3/16 you should use a new spout each season.
