Heading out to the woods tonight to start tapping for 2016 season. Not sure about small warm up next week but the ground is saturated and totally thawed so going to tap hard and fast. Have taps on about 7000 taps and the pumps pretty much ready so going to tap them in first in case it warms up here and there. Taking next week off and just tapping and hanging out at the house, cant wait. Think its going to be a banner season. Ill report in if the sap starts running but usually don't make much here in January. Gotta be ready though, cant miss a drop. Theron

Let us know the sugar content and volums,,,havent seen any maples running at all where im logging and today seemed pretty ideal
