PACMAN, does his RO still come with a hard to read hand written owner's manual? If yes, P.M. me your email and I will send you a printed translation.
You will truly enjoy using the R.O., it is a huge time and fuel saver. Mine started out as a gas unit, but I then got grid power at the sugarhouse and I converted it to electric. I really like that upgrade better, but the gas powered is still WAY better than no RO.
It won't take you long at all to get used to running the RO.

I agree with Dave, you will REALLY like that new RO. Ours is gas-powered like yours and it sure is a life saver. The only suggestion that I would give you is to get a spare feed pump belt. When we started ours up last spring (our second year with it), the belt on the feed pump slipped for a few seconds on the motor pulley before I moved the tightening lever, and half way through the season the belt broke. Fortunately I had ordered a new belt on either ebay or Amazon and it was delivered to our PO box the morning ours broke, so we were only stopped for a short time while I went in and got it and made it the correct size. Needless to say, I now have a spare belt ready should that ever happen again. One thing I did to minimize the vibration of the wash tank was to install a strip of 1/2" dense foam rubber in between the frame and the tank and it really stopped the vibration of the tank. Just remove the two bolt holding the tank to the frame, stick on the foam and then rebolt it and tighten it up.
