Are the $20 refractometers on ebay worth it? Or are they junk and you get what you pay for?

I got one off ebay last year for about 65.00. I checked some syrup with it when it arrived but other that that one time I have not used it. Just waiting for the season to start.Only time will tell.

I got a syrup refractometer off eBay last spring, and it seems to be perfect. As long as I calibrated it (Very easy to do - it's never off much), it agreed with all 3 of my hydrometers on a single sample. I can't say they're ALL good, but mine is a keeper, and I wouldn't be without one now.
