I found some cream that was lost in one of our cupboards and opened them up and the cream had separated which is no big deal but the cover had mold on inside of it. No mold on cream. Is there a way to save this? I figure I could reheat but what would it do to cream. It's only 2 pounds, is it too much work to try and save?

You could cook it a little more and make sugar. Cream should be refrigerated. We store our extra stock in the freezer.
