Does anyone have experience selling maple cotton candy to a store? My questions are do you heat seal the bag or just tie it and what type of shelf life can you expect? The store currently buys regular cotton candy but wants to switch to ours. I have only sold at farmers markets where I make it there and it is largely consumed on spot.
Thanks in advance.

You should seal it to extend the freshness. Most Cotton Candy I have seen in stores has been packaged in sealable plastic containers such as this:

Storing it in a cool place is a good idea as well.
