Checked the 14 day forcast for Brockville, Not a sign of warmer weather for the 2 weeks.
Looks like maybe the 3rd week of March.:(
If we manage a 5 to 6 week run, that's gonna be close to ending around Turkey opener. That's OK, I can listen to the sound of sap running, while I wait for the Turkey to come in.:)

I just checked the forecast this afternoon too and was relieved. We don't want to tap this early. Historically, we tapped between the 15th and 20th of March and would be done around April 15. When we tap has been getting earlier but not the end date. Seems like no matter when we start it ends at roughly the same time. That means a freeze up in the middle where we have to drain all the tanks and the evaporator or else we'll split seems and ruin equipment.
