I tapped on Tuesday, 2-20. I only have 40 taps on buckets, still took me 4 hours with washing and everything. Snow started out knee deep, but was quite a bit less by the time I was done. A few drops was all I got, but I wanted to be ready. I have reds and a few broke buds back in early January. Don't know if I will have a very long season with the Dec. and Jan. warm spell. I guess time will tell.
