I am making a 2X3 Flat pan and a 2X2 Divided pan and am wondering how i am supposed to pipe them together. does anyone have a good picture showing this connection? does the back flat pan need to be higher than the front pan? thanks!

I had a 2x4 flat pan connected with a 2x2 divided pan and had no gradient issues. There were half couplers welded to the pans and a union and valve between the 2. If you put 2 elbows, pipe nipples, union and valve it will show you where to weld the couplers. I had no float box. I had another coupler for a site glass to see level and just dribbled sap in with a valve. All pans were the same height.

I batch boil have 2 2'by2' pans when I get close to being done I empty one pan to the other n place a 1/4" steel plate to cover the hole n use it as a cook top to boil my jars n water to clean up things, I finish all my syrup right in the one pan made 18.5 gal last year my wife loves it that I don't bring anything in the house but bottled syrup, just how I do it
