building a new arch

So i'm in the process of building a new arch for my new 2X6 leader raised flue pans. What height is ideal for the top of the syrup pans from the floor. I don't want to have to bend over to much when firing but don't want to have to use a ladder to see in. I have a platform built for the flue pan where it is so high already. Does 4 feet from floor to top of syrup pan sound right?

I built mine, the top of the arch is 3 feet, so 4 feet to the top of the pan is about the same as mine. I built a intensofire arch like cdl, 2.5x12. and I love it

The 30"x10' I just sold was on the low side as many of the smaller fireboxes are so I set it up on solid 4" cement blocks. Its pretty common to do that so I would just build it according to the firebox and cleanout height you want.
