Running a gravity system. How bad does it affect flow using multiple connecters to peice together lengths of tubing I have lying around to make additional laterals

Each connector is another restriction to flow, besides, unless you are caught in a bind, it is cheaper to use the fewest connectors possible. I use my short pieces up making new drops, then once the pieces are used up I start making them from a new roll. I do also use the short pieces for repairs when needed (tree rat chews).
