I've got about a hundred taps around the house here Id like to put on vac, I have thought about getting an old vac pump & a releaser , but That's alot of dough for a few taps, usually just put buckets on them. I would have 2 use a couple small ladders , maybe 5 -6' tall, the lines won't be very long maybe 200' to the end of the longest line from the pump. Anyone try a ladder on one of these small pumps? Howed it work?

One thing to think about when it comes to diaphragm pumps is there is a pressure side to them. So you can use the pump to evacuate your lines and to lift the sap from the outlet side of the pump rather than to just let it run into a tank.
so in your yard you can raise the sap up and then let it gravity to a collection point.
Remember that you design your system to meet your bushes needs.
Start at the collection point that is best for a wet season and then bring the sap to that point using all the tools at your disposal.
