I just recieved my copy of the sugarhouse journal from leader co.
I actually bought two, one for my neighbor, we are in a competion this year!!
This is a must have for any sugarmaker. I highly recommend it.
I have records back to 1985 and they are all on different notepads, calenders etc.. this 4 year book will make it easy...

I made my own version of that a few years ago. I record volume of sap collected from each section of my gathering legs, the sugar content and how much and what grade I boiled out of it. There's a breakdown of what I canned it into, and the outside temp and boiling times.
On a seperate sheet of paper, I keep track of how much I boil per hour, how often I fire the rig, what kinds of wood I used, etc. It's all just jotted down, along with any bright ideas I get for improvements.
I put it all in a 3 ring binder for future reference. I tried to keep track of what I sold, when and to who, but we never remember to write it down when it happenns.
