3/16 tubing taps - disposable or reusable?

I have taken done my 3/16" gravity lines. Worked great! Now since this is my first year on tubing, what do you do with the taps? I left them connected when I pulled the lines down. Are they considered disposable, or reusable? If reusable, how the heck do you remove them from the line, they really don't want to pull off. Soak in hot water? If disposable, I will just cut them off. I'm using the green CDL taps (5/16" hole, 3/16" tubing).

You can leave them on and reuse them, but you will not get as much sap. I am replacing all my 3/16 taps and drops for next year to continue getting the most sap I can.

Modern practices say throw them out. Most just cut them off. Then every 3-4 years use a new drop (the line from the tap down to the lateral at the tee.)
