What do all of you do to get hot water to your shack. I have power but no means for water. I would like to set a stainless sink up and be able to wash everything there.

Any economical ideas?

Steam hood will get you hot water. And a faster boil.

What he said. And if you are using an ro you can save some of the permeate and use a small on demand heater or a small tank heater to plumb to the sink.

A lot of people use the small propane on demand water heaters like they use in camping to heat water, which would work fine, although you would have to haul fresh water. You can find links on here and find the heaters themselves on amazon for about $150. Another option might be to buy a 3-5000 watt heater like those used in a RO wash tank and heat water in a tank then use a pump to circulate it. I am doing something similar to make a pan washer.

I bought a 6 gallon electric (220) hot water heater which I wired under the sink. Irun a 6500 watt Onan generator and it takes 15 minutes to heat 6 gallons hot and 20 to scalding. Once hot I turn off the generator and unless I use the water it stays hot for hours. When bottling and or cleaning up I leave the generator un for all the hot water I need.
In the fall I drain the hot water heater till I open up again the following spring.
