Yesterday I saw the new guidelines for maple production in the vtsma flyer. It states that cast aluminum or stainless is what is acceptable for a filter press. Are they not accepting cast iron presses? I don't see how they could be harmful people cook in cast iron frying pans everyday. I have a 7" GH grim cast iron press and I would hate to replace it.
